Results of SIAL 2014 exhibition30.03.2015

In october of 2014, company participated in the SIAL Exhibition, Paris, which is one of the largest food exhibitions in Europe. It gathered food profesionals from 200 countries, and food in different categories was presented in 6300 stands from 105 countries. In this exhibition company gained new contacts, feedback and opportunities to be competitive on the Europeam market.To this moment we maintain comunication with several contacts which hopefully results in new exports markets.


Cesvaines Piens launches a new production of butter with Himalayan salt06.01.2015

It has been reported that the CP this year after production workshop modernization and expansion by investing EUR 456,550 in July, launched a niche product like cheese with sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, and cheese with seeds production.
Also in 2015, the CP will continue its niche product development strategy.

Cesvaine dairy was established in 1921, initially producing butter and cheese Bakšteinu. In 1997, joint-stock company “Cesvaines Piens” was established. In 2009, equipment and workshop modernization project was implemented with the support of the European Agriculture Fund for rural development, investing almost 800, 000 lats in the project.

At the moment “Cesvaines piens” is producing three types of cheese: Gouda, Maasdam and Tilsiter and dairy products: butter, cream, home-made cheese CIBA and curds. The production of A/S “Cesvaines Piens” is pre-wraped and packed by A/S “Siera nams”.

Since 2013, the CP participate in global food fairs ANUGA (Germany) and SIAL (France)

 

Cesvaine cheese with sun dried tomatoes and garlic was awarded by silver medal in exibition Riga Food 2014. Cesvaine Russian cheese was awarded the silver medal Riga Food 2012, but Holland cheese – bronze medal.
